Nik Ammar is a multi-talented and award-winning composer and songwriter who began his professional music career as instrumentalist and songwriter in the award winning internationally acclaimed band Oi Va Voi, working with a variety of artists including KT Tunstall and Annie Lennox and performing to many distinguished clientele including HRM The Queen and Ewan MacGregor.

Since establishing himself as a composer in his own right, Nik has composed for numerous TV shows and documentaries, including The Vampire Diaries, Come Dine With Me, Location Location Location, The Wright Stuff, Waterloo Road, Hollyoaks, and Dragon's Den; has written and produced adverts and trailers for corporate clients as diverse as Sky, Nickelodeon, EPSN, Aveeno, and Metrodome;  has been commissioned to write for renowned theatre company Oily Cart, and has just recently finished scoring the soundtrack to feature film Dirty Weekend.
